アムステルダムに着いて
早速Japan Culture Center（以下JCC）のえみこさんの紹介でCarolineに会った。
今回はダンサーと仕事をしたかった。
Carolineは舞踏をやっていて
小枝のような華奢な身体から芯の通ったエネルギーを発するスウェーデン人の女の子。
会った瞬間に「この子とは、世界観が合う！」とわかった。
流れがスムーズで、展開が早い。
言葉の世界が近いのかもしれない。コミュニケーションが楽だ。
最近、何をするにも、少し考えているように思う。
雨あがりの空や雲が映る水たまりを、ひょいと、跳び越えるような感じがなかった。
軽やか、というか、勢いのような、そういうものが、ないのだ。
もちろん大人になって背負うものも増えるから、考えることも大切なんだけど
その一瞬考えてしまっていることで、なくなってしまった可能性も多々あるように思う。
Carolineとの出会いで、そういう身体的なリズムが生み出す
何が起こるかわからない、でもワクワクする景色が久しぶりにみえた。
ありがとう、Caroline。
そういうのもあって、自分の撮影とは別に
彼女にやってみたかったアイデアを話してみた。
その日のうちに、すんなりとMiniKunstFestivalに出展する流れになってしまった。
誰も無理をしていない自然な流れに身を任せていく感じが嬉しい。
6/28に4bid galleryにて、Carolineとパフォーマンスをします。
私は後ろの映像とセット、音の担当です。

なんだか急だけど
写真家としてはいつも基礎訓練しているんだし、用意ができてるはず！という気持ちと
carolineとなら、いける！という余裕がある。
立ち止まって考えるには、まだ早いのかもしれない。
まずは飛び込んでみて、そこからみえる景色を楽しむことにします。

As I arrived to Amsterdam, I have met Caroline through Emiko from Japan
Culture Center (JCC).
I wanted to work with a dancer this time.
Caroline is a swedish woman and a butoh dancer who has a strong energy coming out from her twiggy slender body.
When I met her for the first time, I instantly knew that we share similar vision of the world.
The flow is smooth and development is fast.
Maybe we share very similar language. Communication is so easy with her.
Recently, I have been thinking too much when I do anything.
I was not feeling like hopping over a puddle where sky from after the rain and clouds are reflected.
I did not have a lightness or something like a momentum with me.
Of course when we grow up as an adult, we carry many things on our back,so it is important to think.
But I feel that due to giving a thought,
there are many possibilities which we end up losing.
But meeting with Caroline has showed me some excitement from the rhythm of body.
I haven’t felt like this for a while.
Thank you, Caroline.
And I end up talking to Caroline about my idea besides my own photography work.
Then we decided to participate on MiniKunstFestival.
I love how we went with the flow without any strain.
So Caroline and me are going to have a performance at 4bid gallery on June 28th.
I will be doing visual and set on the back, as well as sound.
I will keep you posted on the detail. I am going to start working on visual shortly. (-:

We decided this all on a sudden but I feel confident because I have been training in fundamentals as a photographer and I should already be prepared for this.
Also, I am not worried because I know I can do this project with Caroline.
It might be too early to stop and think at this moment.
I will dive right into this and enjoy the scenery that I can see from there.
