We would like to kindly invite you for the unique performance / presentation by Erika Suganuma. She is the most recent participant of Deshima AIR Amsterdam.
Erika is a poledance performer from Kyoto, with a rhythmic gymnastic background, she started pole dancing in 2008 and became wellknown in Japan. She will show her highly gracefull and ellegant style of dancing.
Program:
– Poledance by Erika Suganuma. For this special occassion she will be accompanied by Ayumi Matsuda on recorder (blokfluit).
– Talk by Erika about her work in relation to Dutch culture, which she experienced during her stay in the Netherlands.
– For all flexible and non flexible people, she will invite you to practise poledancing yourself!
For this event a pole will be placed in the courtyard of the Artists Community Wittenburcht, Amsterdam.
Ayumi Matsuda, born in Tokyo Japan, started to play the recorder at the age of 7. After graduating at the Toho-Gakuen School of Music in Tokyo, she moved to the Netherlands to continue and expand her recorder studies in Utrecht. Ayumi performs on a regular basis in classical music concerts and with modern composers.
